When I first moved to Singapore I was introduced to Rojak. A local dish of deep fried squid, potato, Tempe, lots of different type kuih, all refried again when you order. Served with onions, cucumber and green chilies. The dip is made of secret ingredients mainly groundnuts. Reminds me satay sauce. Since watchin the horrifying farm to fridge video i really did not want to eat chicken and meat anymore. The bloody video is playing my head like a movie on loop.
So for rojak today I only picked vege based. I'm sure the sauce has some shrimp in it but too bad.
I had a nice meal and made me remember the rojak stall at the now demolished stamford road national library.
