ILGA wants to welcome its new members and to present the Annual Report for 2011


The last Board Meeting of ILGA took place in New York from 24 to 26 February; on that occasion 73 new organizations have been approved as full members and 7 as associate members.  ILGA now has 917 members worldwide.  
Today we would like to invite you to download ILGA’s Annual Report for 2011 to know more about the activities that ILGA undertook in 2011, including our work in support of the regional movements in the global south, our work at the United Nations, and our initiatives to support the intersex movement worldwide and to raise awareness of lesbian health issues.
We are conscious that we would not be able to promote equality and freedom for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people worldwide without the solidarity and support of our members, both financial and in-kind.  Therefore, while we hope that your organisation would consider becoming a member of ILGA too (see below for more details), it is with pride and gratitude that we give a very warm welcome to the following new members:
