Microsoft Surface Tablet Computer, rivals iPad or not?

Microsoft revealed the Surface, a tablet computer set to compete with Apple’s iPad. Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO unveil the Surface Tablet at Hollywood’s Milk Studios in Los Angeles on Monday 18 June,2012. It’s interesting to see how far the Surface will go. As an Apple Evangelist myself, I do find the news refreshing. Maybe it’s good to have a bit of competitiveness. Rivalry will push companies to innovate even better digital devices that may be beneficial to consumer. My iPad is severely under utilized, so I may not run out and buy the Surface, but I would like to try it out. The detach-away keyboard is a pleasant surprise. Full size keyboards are heaven-send, especially if you are working on the go. I will update this post again with the latest findings. If you across any good reviews, please send it my way or leave a comment.
