I love everything Japanese. From Sushi to Tokyo. There is something about this exciting country that rocks my heart and sometime the boat. During my first trip to Japan, I got in touch with the Japanese for some travel advice and application of Japanese Visa. This was like 9years ago. I’ve been on their mailing list ever since. During this period I’ve attended some (mostly free) events organised by the Japan Creative Centre. Organizers bring to Singapore Film Festival to Manga drawing workshop. So get on their mailing list and wait for a surprise. In line with everything Japan spirit, I wanted to share their latest offering Ikabena – The Japanese Art of Flower arrangement. So here are the details. If you do make it up to the event, please share your experience with us on comment box
Japan Creative Centre and Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135 are proud to present the exhibition: “Seasonal Inspirations” which will be featuring Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement and paintings by Singaporean artist Jennifer Liao. This exhibition pays special homage to the stunning yet transient beauty of Japan’s four seasons and the wonders of nature’s creations. We invite you to join us for a visual extravaganza!
